Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

✓ Fully Licensed ✓ Fully Insured ✓ Environment Agency Registered

These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by DC Property Clearance Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to our clients (“you” or “the Client”). By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms in full.

DC Property Clearance Ltd is registered in England and Wales. Company Registration Number: XXXXX. Registered address: Manchester, Greater Manchester.

1. Our Services

We provide property clearance, house clearance, bereavement clearance, probate clearance, end-of-tenancy clearance, garage and loft clearance, office clearance, and home removal services across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. All work is carried out by trained and insured personnel. We are registered with the Environment Agency as a licensed waste carrier.

2. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are provided in good faith based on the information supplied at the time. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. The final price may be revised if the actual volume or nature of items differs materially from the description given at the time of quotation. Where a revision is necessary, we will inform you before commencing work and obtain your agreement to proceed.

3. Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed once you have received written or verbal confirmation from us. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, bank transfer, and major debit and credit cards. For larger jobs we may request a deposit at the time of booking. Late payments may be subject to statutory interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that circumstances can change. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled job: no charge.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the job: we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the quoted price to cover costs already incurred.
  • If we attend the property and cannot gain access or the job cannot proceed through no fault of our own, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable call-out fee.

5. Access and Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring we have safe, lawful access to the property at the agreed time. You confirm that all items to be cleared are either owned by you or that you have the legal authority to dispose of them. We accept no liability for items cleared without proper authority. Please ensure that any items you wish to keep are clearly labelled or separated from items to be cleared before our team arrives. Once items have been removed from the property and loaded, retrieval cannot be guaranteed.

6. Waste Disposal

DC Property Clearance Ltd is a licensed waste carrier registered with the Environment Agency. All waste is disposed of legally and responsibly. We make every reasonable effort to donate, recycle, or repurpose items before resorting to landfill disposal. Hazardous materials — including but not limited to asbestos, chemicals, medical waste, and appliances containing refrigerants — may not be included in a standard clearance and may require specialist disposal at additional cost. Please inform us of any such materials at the time of booking.

7. Limitation of Liability

We take every care when working in and around your property. In the event of accidental damage caused by our team, our liability is limited to the reasonable cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item(s), up to a maximum of the total value of the booked job. We are not liable for any consequential, indirect, or economic losses arising from our services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

8. Complaints

If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us at info@dcpropertyclearance.co.uk or call us on 0161 883 7855 within 14 days of the work being completed. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 2 business days and provide a full response within 5 business days.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be published on this page. Continued use of our services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
